SAN – STORAGE AREA NETWORK

The storage array organizes part of its space in units called LUN (Logical Units), gathering your data accessible exclusively to your server.
The server, with one or more Fiber Channels, accesses the necessary disk space through a Storage Area Network made up of diversified redundant Switch Director apparatuses. -
NAS – NETWORK ATTACHED STORAGE
Endure the maximum local and remote protection and improve performance based on I/O requests.
The service – with multi-tier and multi-tenant characteristics – is centralized and shared. You can access one or more CIFS, NFS or iSCSI file systems through servers reserved to you exclusively and according to agreed access policies.
Access to the required disk space is via Ethernet.
